4 Ps in a Pod is the podcast we wish we had when we were students.
Real stories. Real strategies. Real marketers.
Trying to break into a Marketing career is tough. It’s a mix of awkward networking circles, unnoticed LinkedIn requests, and a sea of stereotypes (no, marketing is not just advertising!).
To get a real look into the world of Marketing and the people who are shaping it - listen to 4Ps in a Pod. In every episode, Jeevs & JP have a chat with a Canadian marketer from a different industry, company, and point in their career. Together, we’ll hear their coming-of-age story, get an unfiltered look at what they do, and gain valuable advice on how to carve out a successful Marketing career.
This podcast is a must-listen for students looking for their first Marketing gig, seasoned vets looking for a change, and everyone in between.
Meet the Team

The first decade of Jeevan’s career was anything but linear & he wouldn’t have it any other way. In his time at General Mills - he held 7 different roles across sales, pricing strategy, innovation, brand management, marketing communications & omnichannel. This was driven by his pursuit of being a really well-rounded marketer (jack of all trades, master of none) & a search for work that truly energized him. He recently started a new chapter at McDonald’s & is getting an opportunity to go deeper into his love of brand building .He’s a firm believer that “good ideas can come from anywhere” & outside of his work - you can find him spending time with loved ones, going down all sorts of rabbit holes, watching basketball (emphasis on watching) & of course - podcasting.

JP started out studying Life Sciences with plans for a career in medicine, but quickly realized his energy was going into marketing projects, extracurriculars, and jobs outside the classroom.
That shift led him to pursue an MBA and ultimately join General Mills, where he spent a decade in Brand Management working on brands such as Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Fruit By The Foot, Yoplait, and Nature Valley across Canada, the UK (where he is now based), and Ireland.
JP’s career philosophy is “meet people where they are” - whether that’s deeply understanding what motivates a brand’s consumers, or collaborating with teammates to bring a strategy to life.Beyond the 4 Ps podcast, JP is passionate about travel, cooking, and creative projects.
